Calling to the Great Hawk
A poem written by Leigh Goodman
25 January 2021

Calling to the Great Hawk to help me fly
The edge of the cliff is near
It’s beautiful and calling me towards the edge
To face my deepest fear
Many moons avoiding this tipping point
Truthfully I have nowhere else to go
The excitement calls me closer
The sun beckons me in its glow
I have gathered my harvest
I have prepared my words
To fly is to step greatly
Into the exquisite unknown
Listen quietly in the wind
Surrender to the sounds
Take a deep breath and open
To the joy of your inner child
To be courageous and open
To fly to new heights
Brings great mystery
And joy to this life
Love the poem Leigh 💛
Thank you so much Lynda :)
